The Erie BayHawks NBA Developmental League franchise announced the hiring of David Thornburg as the team’s Corporate Sales and Merchandise Manager.

Thornburg’s duties include developing corporate sponsorships with regional companies interested in sports-related partnerships and promotions. Additional responsibilities include the development of the “Bayhawks” brand of apparel and merchandise for the new team.

David was recently was an admissions representative for Tri-State Business Institute. Over the past 15 years he has worked with a variety of apparel companies and was involved with corporate sales in the telecommunications market.

Thornburg is a graduate for Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and resides in Edinboro with his wife Claudia, and son Elliot.
