Jerome Jordan Re-joins Erie on His Second Assignment from the Knicks

Jerome Jordan re-joins the BayHawks on his second assignment from the Knicks. Jordan was part of the Knicks’ first NBA Development League assignment, with Jeremy Lin, to Erie when he played two games with the BayHawks in January.

While with the Knicks, Jordan (7-0, 240 lbs.) has appeared in 13 games this season, averaging 1.5 points and 1.2 rebounds in 4.7 minutes per game. On his previous assignment to Erie, he averaged 18.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in two appearances.

The Jamaican native was drafted in the second round in 2010 by the Milwaukee Bucks before being traded to the Knicks. While playing collegiately at Tulsa, he was a defensive force in the Conference USA, setting the league’s all-time blocked shots record. He was also named to multiple All-Conference Teams as well as the All-Defensive Team as a Hurricane.

He is expected to join the BayHawks in time for Saturday night’s game against the Sioux Falls Skyforce at 7:00 pm. Saturday is “Linsanity Night” at the Tullio Arena as the BayHawks will celebrate the success of Jeremy Lin. Mercyhurst University will also present the K-9 Friz-B-Crew as part of the night’s festivities. Tickets are on sale at the Tullio Arena box office.
