The Erie BayHawks NBA D-League franchise announced the hiring of Stacy Garrastazu as the team’s Dance Team Coordinator.

Garrastazu’s duties include selecting talented, refined young ladies who have a passion for dancing and performing and coordinating routines for the Erie BayHawks Dance Team for all 24 home games and special appearances.

Garrastazu has 25 years dance experience in the Erie community. She served as the Millcreek Heat Dance Teams coach from 2002-2008 bringing home 2 World Championships, 10 National Championships, Pennsylvania State Championships and numerous local titles. She currently teaches for the Center for the Performing Arts at McDowell Intermediate High School and coaches the McDowell Competition and Basketball Dance Teams. Garrastazu also instructs at Dance Vibe Studio, Inc. and serves as the Mercyhurst College Dance Team coach.

Garrastazu is also the proud mother of two very active boys Brandon and Matthew Garrastazu.
