BayHawks Set March 3rd as "Lin-Sanity" Night

The Erie BayHawks are paying tribute to Jeremy Lin for all the notoriety his recent rise to fame has provided Erie by celebrating his success with “LIN-SANITY” Night on Saturday, March 3 when the BayHawks face the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Earlier this season Lin made a brief stop in Erie and played one game for the BayHawks against the Maine Red Claws in Portland. Lin delivered the single-best performance by an Erie player this season notching the team’s only triple-double thus far, scoring 28 points, dishing out 12 assists and grabbing 11 rebounds in the BayHawks 122-113 win over Maine.

“We’re thrilled that Erie fans get to share in just a little piece of the incredible story of Jeremy Lin’s rise to fame the past couple weeks,” said BayHawks team president Matt Bresee. “Erie and the NBA Development League have been beneficiaries of his story being told in the national media and we think it’s fitting to celebrate his success with a night dedicated to him.”
