The Erie BayHawks open their first round best-of-three games series in the 2012 NBA Development League playoffs at home on Thursday, April 12 at 7 pm versus the Austin Toros.

Game 2 will be played Sunday in Austin at 4 pm ET, and game 3, if necessary, is set for Monday at 8:30 pm ET also in Austin. Erie, the No. 5 seed, was chosen by Austin, the No. 3 seed, in a selection process that gives the league’s top three seeds an opportunity to select their first round opponent from the four lowest-seeded playoff teams.

Austin defeated Erie 111-88 in the teams’ only meeting of the season on January 10 when they played in Reno, NV at the league’s Showcase event.
