BayHawks Announce Commodore Perry Bobblehead GIveaway

The Erie BayHawks announced plans for their annual bobblehead giveaway during last Sunday’s Perry 200 celebration day at Erie Insurance Arena. For the third consecutive year, the BayHawks will be distributing 1,000 bobbleheads to fans on Fan Appreciation Night. This season’s figurine will feature Commodore Oliver “Hazard” Perry in honor of the city’s Perry 200 celebration.

“The Perry 200 commemoration celebrates the history of the Erie community and we’re joining the celebration. The bobblehead ties together a landmark event in the city’s tremendous history with the BayHawks, which of course has a nautical theme,” said team president Matt Bresee.

The figurine includes a “Don’t Give Up the Ship” flag in one hand and Perry holding a basketball in the other. The base of the figurine has the BayHawks word mark logo as well as a placard featuring the Penelec logo, the bobblehead’s presenting partner.
