BayHawks Acquire Guard Reggie Holmes

The Erie BayHawks have acquired guard Reggie Holmes from the league's available player pool.

Holmes (6-4, 180 lbs) a 2010 graduate of Morgan State University, was the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year and named to the Associated Press All-American honorable mention team after averaging 21.8 points and 4.3 rebounds during his senior season. Holmes recently returned from a short stint playing internationally in Morocco.

The BayHawks active roster currently stands at ten players, as guard Garrett Temple was signed to a second ten-day contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Erie tips off a three-game home series with the New Mexico Thunderbirds on Thursday night at 7pm. It's the first Buck Night of the season where Smith's hot dogs, popcorn, pop and beer are each just one dollar, and tickets start at just five dollars.

The Erie BayHawks are the NBA Development League Affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors. The NBA Development League is the official minor league of the NBA.
