BayHawks to Play Twice on National TV

CBS Sports Network returns to the hardwood for its second season of NBA Development League coverage with a slate of up to 21 games, including 10 regular season games, two games from the NBA D-League Showcase, postseason action, and exclusive coverage of the NBA D-League Finals. The Network also airs NBA ACTION, a weekly show providing an inside look at the NBA’s top players and storylines every Friday at 5:30 PM, ET.

The Erie BayHawks will be featured during two separate broadcasts, including their home game against the Delaware 87ers on January 20. The game will tip-off at 2:00 pm as part of the BayHawks Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration. The BayHawks game at Los Angeles will also be aired nationally on April 2 at 10:00 pm ET.

The NBA D-League is the NBA’s official minor league featuring 17 teams, including 14 with direct affiliations to NBA franchises. The league is a proven developer of talent with an all-time high 103 players with NBA D-League experience on 2013-14 NBA opening-day rosters. The 103 players represented 24 percent of all NBA players. NBA D-League alumni on opening day rosters nearly have tripled since 2006-07.

The NBA D-League Showcase features all 17 NBA D-League teams competing between Jan. 5-9, 2014. The 10th annual event, hosted for the third-consecutive season by the Bighorns and the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, will take place at the team’s home at the Reno Event Center in Reno, Nev.

CBS Sports Network is available to more than 99 million households across the country.
