ERIE — The NBA Development League Erie BayHawks will host open auditions for groups and individuals interested in singing the National Anthem at a BayHawks game and athletic individuals interested in playing the team’s mascot Clutch.
The auditions will be held Sunday, November 23rd at the Erie Playhouse, 13 West 10th Street from 3 – 5 pm.
Anthem singers will be asked to perform in front of a panel of judges and it is recommended that any interested performers provide a CD or cassette demonstrating their singing ability at the time of audition.
Those interested in auditioning to play Clutch will be required to have up to a 5-minute performance/sketch prepared to show the panel of judges. This performance is at the discretion of the performer and must be appropriate for a family audience. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to sustain energy throughout a BayHawks game. They should be fun, interactive with the fans of any age and be able to do choreographed dances or stunts.
