Delaware 87ers Receive 9th Pick in 2013 NBA D-League Draft

Newark, Delaware, October 24, 2013 - The NBA Development League announced today that the Delaware 87ers will receive the 9th overall pick in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft, set to take place via Cisco WebEx Meeting Center from the league’s New York headquarters on Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. CT.

The 87ers will have the opportunity to make up to 10 selections in the 2013 Draft. The first eight picks in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft were awarded to teams who did not qualify for the 2013 NBA D-League playoffs, in reverse order of their regular season records. The subsequent eight picks in the will go to those teams who did qualify for the 2013 NBA D-League playoffs, also in reverse order of regular season record.

Each of the NBA D-League's 17 teams will be given one pick in each of the eight rounds. No trades will be permitted during the draft and only players signed to an NBA Development League Standard Player Contract are eligible to be selected.
