Delaware 87ers Acquire Hamady N'Diaye

NEWARK, DE.—January 25, 2014— The Delaware 87ers have acquired center Hamady N’Diaye.

N’Diaye (7-0, 236) was originally drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 56th overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft.

During his senior year at Rutgers University, N'Diaye had 145 blocks and averaged 4.5 blocks per game. N'Diaye ended his collegiate career with 358 blocks, third most blocked shots in the nation in 2010.

Most recently, N’Diaye was assigned to the Reno Bighorns by the Sacramento Kings where he appeared in one game and had four blocks, seven rebounds and seven points in 24 minutes.

Prior to his time with the Reno Bighorns, N’Diaye played with the Maine Red Claws, Iowa Energy, and the Dakota Wizards where in 35 games he averaged four rebounds, three blocks and five points per game.

The 87ers are back in action today, Saturday, January 25, at the Bob Carpenter Center against the Canton Charge for the second time in two nights at 7 p.m.
