14ers Partner with Mile High Sports Radio AM 1510

DENVER, September 25 – The Colorado 14ers basketball club today announced a partnership with Haas Rock Publications to air all games on two radio stations in Denver and Northern Colorado. Mile High Sports Radio AM 1510 KCKK will serve as the flagship station for the 14ers, with all games also airing on AM 1570 KSXT Mile High Sports Extra in Loveland. The partnership includes all 50 regular season games and playoffs throughout the 2007-2008 season.

I believe it is a very fan friendly environment for both fans and teams alike.”

Under the new agreement, the 14ers become the first professional sports flagship partner for Mile High Sports Radio 1510. “We are excited and proud to be partnering with the Colorado 14ers,” said Haas Rock Publications Chief Executive Officer Kevin Medina. “Being their flagship station parallels our strategy of delivering sports at all levels to fans throughout the Front Range.”

Play-by-play duties will be handled by Denver media veteran Chad Andrus, Director of Basketball Broadcasting and Media Relations for the 14ers. The broadcast will also include pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows with exclusive interviews from 14ers players and coaches. The 14ers Head Coach will also be featured once per week on AM 1510 during the season as part of “The Joe Wolf Show”.

KCKK is a 25,000 watt station found at 1510 on the AM dial and licensed to the city of Thornton, CO. Mile High Sports Radio provides quality local and national sports programming including “The Pressbox” with Tim Neverett 6-9 a.m. and “Drive Time Sports” with Mark Knudson and James Merilatt 3-6 p.m. weekdays.

The Colorado 14ers schedule tips off on the NBA Development League opening night of Friday, November 23 at the Broomfield Event Center against the Anaheim Arsenal at 7:05 p.m.
