Avila A long season comes down to winning two games. Can the Lowgators salvage their season?

The Lowgators have made it to the NBDL Championship series. It's a Best-of-3, but it may soon turn into a Worst-of-2 after the Lowgators' performance in Game #1.

The disappointing loss leaves the team fractured and fighting. Tensions flare between relative newcomer Jamal Kendrick and veteran Neil Edwards. As one player says "This team is only together when we're winning".

But once it starts to sink in that Game #2 could be their last as a team, the Lowgators bond again. To win would be "a chance to see another day together". Can they win the next 2 games and win the championship? We won't spoil it.

When it's all over, Galen Young reflects that it has been "one more episode in the life of basketball". The players hug and say their goodbyes - some say they'll miss it, others will not (one says "I'd never come back").

Finally, Down Low completes the story it began on the highways of Charleston when it finds an old friend, Tes Whitlock, on his way to another tryout in Salina, Kansas.
