The Canton Charge will hold open player tryouts in both Canton and Cleveland for their upcoming 2012-13 NBA Development League season. Open tryouts will offer players the opportunity to exhibit their skills in order to earn an invitation to the team’s official training camp in November.

The Cleveland tryout will begin on Saturday, September 8th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and continue on Sunday, September 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cleveland Clinic Courts, the official practice facility of their NBA affiliate, the Cleveland Cavaliers (6101 Brecksville Rd. Independence, Ohio 44131). The Canton tryout will begin on Saturday, September 22nd from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and continue on Sunday, September 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Canton McKinley’s Memorial Fieldhouse (1815 Harrison Ave. NW Canton, OH 44708). Each tryout participant must be available to participate on both Saturday and Sunday of their respective tryout weekend.

Step 2

Pay the $150 Registration fee online (plus $5 handling fee) by clicking on the tryout location below:

• Cleveland Tryout - Saturday, September 8th
• Canton Tryout - Saturday, September 22nd

*The fee increases to $200 (Cash, Money Order, Certified Check or Master Card/Visa/American Express/Discover only. No personal checks accepted) on-site at the tryout locations in Cleveland and Canton.
