Manny Harris Named D-League Performer of the Week

The Canton Charge announced today that guard Manny Harris (6-5, 185, Michigan) has been named the NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played from January 23-29. In three games over that span, Harris averaged 25.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.3 minutes per contest.

Harris had a season-high 32 points on 11-of-18 shooting with six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 34 minutes against Springfield on January 24th. He played a key role in a 124-108 victory at Bakersfield on January 27th by pouring in 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting with 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 33 minutes for his first double-double of the year. Manny tied for the team lead with 21 points, including 14-of-16 from the free-throw line, with six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 36 minutes in a 110-101 win at the Los Angeles D-Fenders on January 28th. The Charge were 2-1 in games played last week.

In 10 games (five starts) with Canton this season, Harris is averaging 19.0 points on .422 shooting with 7.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.8 minutes per game. He has scored in double figures in nine out of ten games played this season, including seven consecutive contests.
