Canton Sends a 3rd Round Pick in Exchange for the Guard

Charge Acquire Baudinet From Mad Ants

The Canton Charge have acquired guard Thomas Baudinet (6’3”, 190, St. Anselm) from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in exchange for their third round draft choice (42nd overall) in the 2012 NBA D-League Draft. After the trade, Canton has eight picks remaining in tonight’s draft.

Baudinet played in 18 games (three starts) with Fort Wayne last season, averaging 6.8 points on .434 shooting with 1.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.7 steals in 16.6 minutes per game. He also played in 19 games (seven starts) with the Iowa Energy last season where he averaged 7.6 points on .474 shooting with 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19.3 minutes per game.

The 2012 NBA Development League Draft begins tonight at 7:00 p.m. live via teleconference. The Canton Charge will also host a draft party at the team’s official practice and training facility, Edgewood Community Center, for special access to the team’s draft operations exclusively for season ticket holders.
