Tyrell Biggs Returns to Charge

CANTON, OH - December 20, 2011 - The Canton Charge announced that forward Tyrell Biggs will return to the roster after a stint in Cleveland Cavaliers’ training camp. Biggs had been with the Cavaliers since they opened camp on December 9th and was waived on December 18th. The Charge have also waived forward Marcus Relphorde.

“Tyrell really worked hard during his time with the Cavaliers and was able to gain valuable NBA experience,” said Charge General Manager Wes Wilcox. “We are excited to have him back in Canton and look forward to seeing that experience translate with the Charge.”

Prior to joining Cavaliers’ training camp, Biggs ranked eighth in the D-League in scoring, averaging 21.3 points on .531 shooting to go along with 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 steal per game.

Relphorde played in nine games with Canton this season (six starts), averaging 11.7 points on .432 shooting, 5.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steal in 27.8 minutes per game.
