Bakersfield Jam to Play Preseason Game in Ontario

BAKERSFIELD, September 20, 2012 – The Bakersfield Jam will face off against the Los Angeles D-Fenders in a preseason exhibition game in Ontario, Calif., on November 17, the club announced today.

The two West division rivals will be playing at Citizens Business Bank Arena, located at 4000 East Ontario Center Parkway, with tip-off scheduled at 7 p.m. PT. The contest will be the first NBA Development League game ever played at Citizens Business Bank Arena.

The Jam look forward to a great exhibition match in preparation for the 2012-13 season.

“No amount of practice or inter-squad scrimmage can replicate live game play,” said Assistant General Manager Brian Levy. “It will be a good test for us to see how we stack up against the team that had the best record in the league last year.”

Tickets will go on sale Monday, September 24 online at and by telephone at 1-888-9-AXS-TIX (888-929-7849). Prices start as low as $12. For special group rates on parties 15 or more, please contact Jessica Reveles at 1-909-244-5516.

The Bakersfield Jam open the 2012-13 season on the road against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Friday November 23 at 5:00 p.m. PT. The Jam home opener comes a week later on Thursday, November 29 when they host the Idaho Stampede at 7:00 p.m. PT.
