Austin Toros 2012-13 Single Game Tickets on Sale November 2nd

Austin, TX October 25, 2012 – Single game tickets to the defending NBA D-League Champion Austin Toros 2012-13 home games will go on sale Friday, November 2nd at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online at and, by calling the Austin Toros office at (512)236-8333 or at the Cedar Park Center box office.

The Toros’ home opener includes a celebration of the 2012 NBA D-League Championship on Saturday, December 1st at 7:30 p.m. Pregame festivities will include a banner raising and ring ceremony at Cedar Park Center. All Central Texas community members are invited to witness this historic event for the Toros, followed by a postgame concert by Mockingbird Sun in celebration of last year’s championship season.

The Toros will host promotional nights throughout the season, including Scout Night on December 2nd, Season of Giving on December 21st, Live Fit Day on January 27th, Faith N Family Night on February 9th and Military Appreciation Night on March 16th. As part of the promotional schedule, the Austin Toros are excited to announce “Live Music Fridays” during the 2012-13 season. The postgame concerts will feature Texas country bands. The bands scheduled to play are as followed:

  • Friday, Dec. 21 – Sam Riggs and the Night People
  • Friday, Jan. 4 – Zack Walther Band
  • Friday, Jan. 25 – John Evans Band
  • Friday, Feb. 8 – Texas Renegade
  • Friday, Mar. 15 – Curtis Grimes
  • Friday, Mar. 29 – Common Thread
  • The Toros are also bringing back Winning Wednesdays. Fans that attend a Wednesday game and the Toros win, will receive a complementary ticket to the following Wednesday game. When the Toros win, you win! Sunday home games are Family Fun Day, which includes a Toros ticket, hot dog, and soda for the low price of $11.
