McDonald’s All American Nominations for Central Texas Recognized at Toros Game Tonight

WHO: Five Central Texas Players Nominated to Play at 2010 McDonald’s All American High School Basketball Games, Benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Five Central Texas players are being recognized as the top prep standouts in the nation, with their nominations to the McDonald’s All American® High School Boys and Girls Basketball Teams. The Central Texas nominees are:

  • Daniel Alexander, Dripping Springs High School, Dripping Springs
  • Lindsay Ansley, Marble Falls High School
  • Donald Dallas, LBJ High School, Austin
  • Cody Doolin, Westlake High School, Austin
  • Demetris Smith, Pflugerville High School, Pflugerville

These five outstanding students will be recognized during halftime at the Austin Toros vs. Reno Bighorns 7:30 p.m. game at Cedar Park Center on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. These nominees are competing to fill 24 positions on each of the Boys and Girls All American Teams. The members of each team will receive the honor of playing in a game that will raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of Central Ohio. The final team roster will be announced on ESPNU on February 11 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
