Austin, TX Feb. 28, 2012 – Former Austin Toros forward Lance Thomas has signed with the New Orleans Hornets for the remainder of the 2011-12 season, it was earlier announced by the Hornets.
Thomas recently completed his second GATORADE Call-Up, appearing in nine games averaging 2.7 points and 3.7 rebounds.
Thomas (6-8, 225, Duke) started the season with the Toros playing in 19 games averaging 15.2 points and 7.7 rebounds. In 2010-11, Thomas averaged 12.6 points and 5.5 rebounds in 46 games (all starts).
