Interview With Nando De Colo
In this edition of 'Under the Boards', San Antonio Spurs Guard Nando De Colo discusses coming to Austin from San Antonio to get some extra playing time.
For the third time this season, Spurs Guard Nando De Colo was assigned to the NBA Development League to get some extra work in. Friday against the L.A. D-Fenders, the PG played almost 32 minutes, wracking up 17 points and 11 assists in the process. Here's a snippet of the interview.
Q: When did you find out you were coming to Austin?
A: Yesterday, after the NBA game, they sent me to come here. They want me to get more time on the court...
Q: How do you feel getting some playing time under your belt?
A: I must improve what I've learned doing and it's hard to do that just practicing with the Spurs...
Q: How do you step into a game with a team you hardly play with and get 11 assists?
A: You know, just play the game. Good plays, good space and it's easy to play when we're moving the ball...
