AUSTIN, TX March 1, 2012 – The Toros announced they have reacquired forward Eric Dawson. Dawson will join the team in Frisco tonight when the Toros (22-12) take on the Legends (17-18) at 7:00pm. Luke Bonner was waived due to injury earlier today.
Dawson (6-9, 250, Midwestern) returns to the Toros following a GATORADE Call-Up to the San Antonio Spurs. Dawson averaged 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in two games for the Spurs. Dawson has played in 18 games for the Toros this season averaging 15.9 points and 10.1 rebounds in 29 minutes of play.
Fans can watch Dawson and the Toros tonight on Fox Sports Southwest, and Saturday on Futurecast at nba.com/futurecast. Both games start at 7:00pm CST.
The Toros head back to the Cedar Park Center next Thursday, March 8th to face the Sioux Falls Skyforce at 7:30pm where they’ll partner with Cedar Park Regional Medical Center to present “Girl’s Night Out” brought to you by Waterloo Tan.
