In his 14th season as the Spurs head athletic trainer … received his bachelor’s degree in biology from
the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 1990 … obtained a master’s in sports medicine from the
United States Sports Academy in 1992 … served as the assistant athletic trainer/strength coach with
the Indiana Pacers from 1994–98 … a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association
… one of two trainers for U.S.A. Basketball at the 2003 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament … in
his fourth term as president of the NBATA Foundation Board … he and wife Terri have four children,
Allison, Benjamin, Emma and Liam … enjoys traveling to baseball games and has seen games in
approximately 60 minor and major league ballparks.
