Monte Shubik is in his 10th season with the Sixers and his first in the role of Assistant Coach/Video Coordinator after spending six seasons as the teamís video coordinator. In his new position, Shubik will continue to oversee the Sixers video department as well as aid head coach Doug Collins in offensive game planning.

Shubik began his career with the Sixers as an intern in the basketball operations department during the 2003-04 season. Afterwards, he was hired as the assistant video coordinator, a position he held for two years before being promoted to head video coordinator for the 2006-07 season.

In addition to his duties with the Sixers, Shubik has also served as a scout and performance analyst for the Great Britain menís national basketball team in each of past three summers in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games.

A graduate of Penn State, Shubik resides in Conshohocken.
