Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Kyle Barbour joins the Golden State Warriors in 2011-12 as the teamís assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Prior to joining the Golden State Warriors, Barbour was the director of sports performance at Athercare physical therapy clinic in Castro Valley. A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, he recently earned a Masters Degree in Kinesiology from Cal State University East Bay.

Previously, Barbour worked in professional baseball for three years as a strength and conditioning coach in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. While working in baseball, Kyle had the opportunity to work as a strength and conditioning coach with the MLB International Envoy program, overseeing the development of strength and conditioning programs in Italy, the Netherlands, and Sweden. He also spent time at the collegiate level working as a strength and conditioning intern/coach at the University of Notre Dame.

Kyle is a native of San Diego and earned his Bachelorís degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness, Nutrition and Health from San Diego State University. He currently lives in Oakland with his wife, Camila.
