Assistant Coach

Jerry DeGregorio’s coaching experience includes stints as an NBA assistant coach, as well as head coaching assignments at nearly every other level – including NCAA Division I, Division II, junior college and high school. Most recently, since 2003, he has served as an individual skill development coach based out of Los Angeles, working with a number of high-profile NBA clients. A native of New Britain, Connecticut, DeGregorio previously worked for the Los Angeles Clippers for two seasons (2001-02 & 2002-03), serving as both director of player development and assistant coach. Prior to joining the Clippers, he was the head coach at the University of Rhode Island from 1999-2001 after working as an assistant coach at URI from 1997-99. A 1988 graduate of St. John’s University, DeGregorio’s first head coaching job at the college level came at Mattatuck (Conn.) Community College in 1991-92.
