In his seventh season as a Spurs assistant coach … a sought after speaker, clinician
and advisor on shooting technique for numerous NBA players including Steve Kerr,
Grant Hill and Shane Battier … served as a shooting consultant with the Pistons
during the 1999–2000 season … was director of player development for the Nuggets
for two seasons before joining the Spurs … served as a ball boy for John Wooden’s
1975 NCAA Championship UCLA team … in 1979 led Los Angeles in scoring while
at Pacific Palisades High School … lettered four seasons at Duke University … team
captain for Mike Krzyzewski’s 1982–83 Blue Devil squad … spent nine years playing
professionally in the Philippines, Canada and the CBA … in 1995 founded In-Net Corporation to establish his
“Chip Shots” basketball camps to help players of all ages improve their shooting … he and wife, Jessica, have
a son, Press.
