Download the 2006-07 Clippers Schedule Into Microsoft Outlook

Keep up with the Clippers this season by downloading the 2006-07 Clippers schedule into your Microsoft Outlook! Outlook users can import the full schedule into their calendar and then sync up their handheld devices. You’ll have the Clippers game time, opponent, and location on hand everywhere you go. You can even set reminders to alert you that it’s a Clippers gameday.

Even if you don't have a handheld device, downloading the schedule into Outlook will help make sure that you don't miss a Clippers battle. (Note: Due to constant adjustments in the NBA schedule during the season, be sure to periodically double-check start times on Clippers.com for the most up-to-date Clippers schedule information.)

STEP ONE:
Right-click the below link and chose SAVE TARGET AS... Once the window prompts you, click "SAVE" to download the file. The filename is "clippers.csv."

STEP TWO:
To get the Clippers schedule onto your Palm, PocketPC, WinCE or other handheld device, you first need to import the data into the Microsoft Outlook calendar application on the computer which you synchronize to your device. (Note: Currently, this download can only be imported into Outlook. Other desktop calendar applications such as Palm Desktop PIM are not compatible at this time.)

To import the schedule, open up your Microsoft Outlook and follow the below steps:
  • Select FILE --> IMPORT AND EXPORT...
  • Select "Import from another program or file" and click Next.
  • Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click Next.
  • Find the clippers.csv file you just downloaded and select "Do not import duplicate items" and click Next.
  • Select Calendar and click Next.
  • The next window will have a title that says 'The following actions will be performed:' above an option to 'Import "clippers.csv" into folder: Calendar.'
  • Check that box and click on 'Import "clippers.csv" into folder: Calendar'
  • From there, click and drag needed fields from the left window into the right window. It is fairly self-explanatory, but the basic corresponding fields are below:

    SUBJECT to Subject
    START_DATE to Start Date
    START_TIME to Start Time
    END_TIME to End Time
    DESCRIPTION to Description
    LOCATION to Location

  • And if you'd like Outlook to place a reminder: REMINDER_ON_OFF to Reminder On/Off
  • Click OK
  • Then Click Finish

STEP THREE: Synchronize your palm or handheld device to your computer.
