Pregame Report: With Griffin and Rivers Out, Clippers Prepare for Game 4 Sunday
1 / 10Caden Kinard Salt Lake City - The Clippers enter Sunday’s Game 4 against Utah in a disheartening, yet familiar circumstance. They’ll be playing without star forward Blake Griffin for the rest of the postseason, who suffered an injury to his plantar plate in the right big toe. “It’s going to be an easier adjustment since he was out already [this season],” said Marreese Speights. “It’s the playoffs, so it will be different, but we’ll prepare for it.” To compound the situation, Austin Rivers has been ruled out for Game 4, too. The Clippers enter Sunday’s matchup with a 2-1 series lead, snatching back home court advantage with a Game 3 second half rally, without Griffin or Rivers, in Salt Lake City.
