The Los Angeles Clippers are advising fans attending the Clippers game vs. Sacramento on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 12:30 p.m. PT and on Sunday, Nov. 24 against Chicago at 12:30 p.m. PT to be prepared for heavy traffic due to multiple events occurring in downtown Los Angeles this weekend. Fans are encouraged to allow additional time or take public transportation if possible.
In addition to the Clippers game on Saturday, the Los Angeles Kings play at 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Clippers play at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Lakers game at 6:30 p.m, plus the American Music Awards taking place at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Also happening in downtown is the LA Auto Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center that will be open both days from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Street Closures for both days include the following:
- 11th Street/Chick Hearn Court (same street) is closed from Figueroa Street to Georgia Street
- Georgia Street is closed from 11th Street/Chick Hearn Court (same street) to the West Road
Please note that traffic is expected on both days in the area between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. due to the multiple events taking place in and around the area.
All L.A. LIVE Restaurants will be open normal operating hours throughout the weekend.
