Williams Named Strength and Conditioning Coach
Williams spent the last two seasons as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Denver Nuggets.
A 2000 graduate of Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS, Williams earned a degree in Business with an emphasis in Sports Management. While at Tabor, he was a starter on the Men’s basketball team and received First Team All-Conference recognition as one of his honors. Williams went on to receive an additional Bachelor’s Degree from Western State College in Kinesiology/Health Promotions in 2002. While at Western State College, Williams volunteered as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams. He completed his college internship as an assistant to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Denver Nuggets, parlaying it into a full-time position after graduation.
Williams is currently completing his Master’s Degree in Fitness and Injury Prevention. He has certifications in PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist), and CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and is a member of NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association), as well as NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine).
