UPDATED PLAYOFF PICTURE: APR. 11, 2014

If the season ended today, the Clippers (3) would take on the Warriors (6) in the first round.

The Clippers (55-24) are firmly planted in the No. 3 slot in the West. It will become official with either a Houston Rockets loss on Friday or a Clippers win on Saturday afternoon. Still, losses by Dallas and Golden State on Thursday complicated things on the bottom half of the postseason standings more than they already were. The Warriors trail the Trail Blazers by two games for No. 5, and remain the most likely opponent for the Clippers in the 3-6 matchup. However, Phoenix is on the Warriors’ heels. They trail Golden State by one game. The Warriors, though, own the third tiebreaker of the Suns with a 10-5 division record.

Here is a look at where each of the nine remaining teams that could make the Playoffs stand, including games remaining, who they would play if the postseason started today and how they fared this season in head-to-head matchups with opponents in the West.
