Clippers Exercise Option on Quinton Ross

The Los Angeles Clippers today exercised the club’s fourth year contract option on guard Quinton Ross.

Ross, who was originally signed by the Clippers prior to the start of 2004-05 season, averaged 5.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 21.0 minutes per game during the 2006-07 season. Considered one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA, Ross led the Clippers with 81 games played last season.

The four-year NBA veteran out of SMU has tallied 5.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 21.6 minutes per game over his career.
