Clippers Head Coach Mike Dunleavy
On the win:
“I liked our effort tonight. Particularly, I liked the way we started the game and got off to a great lead, at both ends, defensively and offensively. In the second half, I thought we made some mistakes and we took some quick shots. It allowed them to get back in the game. Dribble penetration stepped up and they were able to get a bunch of rebounds. Nineteen offensive rebounds allowed them to get back in the game.”

On Clippers Guard Shaun Livingston's playing time:
“Shaun’s got a good feel. A lot of things, obviously, it’s about him growing. We’re limited on minutes with Marko and Shaun so it’s kind of tough to get him in the flow. I’m taking him out based on that versus how the game is going. That’s somewhat limiting. But I thought he did a lot of nice things out there.”

On Livingston's performance:
“I thought [Shaun] was terrific starting the game. I thought the patience and timing on plays and his delivery was terrific.”

On Clippers' Forward Bobby Simmons:
“[Bobby Simmons didn’t start] because of his injury to his leg. He did better from yesterday to today. I thought that if I could limit his minutes so that he wouldn’t be out there as much, that it would be a positive. Yet they went small, so I wound up using him more than I wanted to use him, but we had to.”

Clippers Forward Bobby Simmons
(16 points and 3 rebounds)

On his limited playing time:
“It was the Coach’s decision. He wanted to play me limited minutes tonight and fortunately I only played 21 [minutes], so that’s a good warm up for Friday’s game.”

On breaking his consecutive starts streak:
“No it doesn’t matter. I just want to win games, and fortunately we won tonight and that’s all that matters.”

On the Clippers' playoff hopes:
“Yes, they are still alive. We just have to take it one game at a time, if we keep winning you never know, we might have a shot.”

On his hot shooting:
“The reason for that was my teammates. Fortunately once I got in the game they started looking for me. My first shot of the game I was wide open. We run plays and fortunately everyone was finding the open guy.”

Clippers Guard Shaun Livingston
(2 points and 11 assists)

On his play:
“If anything I would just want to cut back on the turnovers. I did all right tonight. I just need to be a little bit more aggressive individually, but besides that I can’t complain. We got the win.”

Clippers Forward Elton Brand
(24 points and 10 rebounds)

On the win:
“We did many things well to get a big lead. Then we did many things to lose the lead.”

On teammate Shaun Livingston's performance:
“Shaun Livingston is very patient. He is a very skilled rookie. He still has some things to work on, but other than that he is doing well.”

On the Clippers' 34 assists:
“34 assists was a season high for us. We are really sharing the ball. Guys that are open are getting the looks. Having Shaun and Marko back really helps a lot.”
