NBA Draft Workout Preview - Day 5
The Clippers will conduct their second pre-Draft workout of the week on Wednesday when they bring in a group of guards and athletic wing players.
Lorenzo Brown, a junior guard from North Carolina State, is the highest rated prospect among the group. Brandon Triche (Syracuse), James Ennis (Long Beach State) and Kwame Alexander (Cal State San Bernardino) will also attend the morning workout.
Ennis played two years at Long Beach State after joining the 49ers as a transfer from Ventura College. He participated in the Denny's Slam Dunk Championship during the NCAA tournament.
Earlier in the Draft process, Director of Basketball Operations Gerald Madkins said athletic wing players who could shoot and defend were a position the Clippers would potentially take a look at with the No. 25 pick in the upcoming Draft. Triche and Brown are both ball-handling guards with major NCAA experience, while Alexander and Ennis are both local products who are considered developmental projects with exceptional athleticism.
