Maggette’s Arthroscopic Procedure Successful
Clippers swingman Corey Maggette underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure today to alleviate the intermittent pain he suffered in his right knee during the 2006-07 season. The condition, although bothersome, did not result in any lost playing time for Maggette during the year.
Clippers’ team physician Dr. Tony Daly, assisted by Dr. Steven Shimoyama, performed the surgery at the Center for Ambulatory Surgical Treatment (C.A.S.T) in Westwood, California.
Maggette is expected to return to regular activity in 3-4 weeks.
In 75 games played on the season, Maggette averaged 16.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
