Maggette Injury Update

Posted: January 31st, 2005

Clippers swingman Corey Maggette underwent an MRI evaluation today, the results of which were both negative and consistent with team physician Dr. Tony Daly’s original diagnosis of a sprained left sternoclavicular joint.

Maggette, who is averaging a team-high 21.1 points per game, will be sidelined indefinitely.

Maggette suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter at Portland on January 28.
