An MRI performed on Clippers G Marko Jaric on Wednesday afternoon revealed a partial tear of the plantar fascia on his left foot.
Jaric flew form Indianapolis to Los Angeles on Wednesday morning to undergo the MRI. He was forced to leave the Clippers’ game at Cleveland on Tuesday night midway through the second quarter with the injury.
The plantar fascia is the tight band of muscle beneath the arch of the foot
A determination on Jaric’s ability to return to action will be made after he is further examined by Clippers’ team orthopedist Dr. Tony Daly on Thursday afternoon.
