FRIDAY FIVE: BEST PLAYS OF THE GRAMMY TRIP
With the Grammy road trip past the halfway point, it seemed only appropriate to choose the best five plays of the 2-2 trip so far. In honor of Sunday’s awards, here are the trip’s top five plays based on the “Song of the Year” candidates.
5. “Royals” by Lorde: Blake Griffin dribbles into no-look kick out to J.J. Redick for 3-pointer. There are not many big men who can push the ball up the court, handle the ball the way Griffin did and then stop in the lane to make a pass to an open 3-pointer shooter on the wing. You could argue it is the kind of thing reserved for the royals among bigs.
