Clippers Sign Three Free Agents
A three-year NBA veteran, Humphrey averaged 4.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 11.5 minutes in four games played for the Golden State Warriors’ entry in the 2006 Toshiba Vegas Summer League. Prior to his summer league stint with the Warriors, Humphrey tallied 7.4 points and 4.6 rebounds with Murcia in Spain and averaged 6.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 11 games played for Reggio Emilia in Italy during the 2005-06 season.
The 19th overall selection in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz, Humphrey averaged 2.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 9.1 minutes in 35 games played for the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2004-05 campaign.
Robinson, a rookie out of Rhode Island, tallied 13.8 points and 3.4 rebounds over his four-year collegiate career. Robinson turned in his most productive collegiate season as a senior, averaging 15.7 points and 4.3 assists in 26 games played during the 2005-06 season.
Williams averaged 7.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 12.4 minutes played for the Clippers’ entry in the 2006 Toshiba Vegas Summer Pro League. He connected on 14-28 FG (.500) and 6-10 3FG (.600) over the course of the league. He was also selected in the first round (third overall selection) of the 2006 NBA Development League Expansion Draft by the Clippers’ affiliate, the Anaheim Arsenal.
The 6’9” forward out of North Carolina tallied 4.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in three preseason games with the San Antonio Spurs in 2005 before joining Fayetteville (NBADL) and averaging 14.0 points and 5.0 rebounds during the remainder of the season.
