On-Air Promotions Department Recognized for Excellence in Broadcast Design and Promotional Effort in First Promax/DBA Honor for Regional Network

FSN Prime Ticket Receives Gold Broadcast Design Association Award for "Clippers Insider"

Los Angeles – June 21, 2007 – FSN PRIME TICKET has been recognized by Promax/BDA, the global non-profit organization for marketing, promotion and design professionals in electronic media, for excellence in on-air promotion (OAP). In its first year as a Promax/BDA award winner, the FSN PRIME TICKET OAP Department took home Gold, Silver and Bronze statues for their efforts promoting the Los Angeles Clippers “Insider” original programming and the 2006 re-brand of FSN West 2 as FSN PRIME TICKET. The winners were announced at the 2007 Promax & BDA International Conference in New York on June 14.

In the category of “Art Direction and Design: Image Campaign”, Graphic Designer Steve Guerrero received a Gold BDA (Broadcast Design Association) Award, the top honor given by the organization, for his efforts on the 2006 Clippers Graphic Package. The package was created for “Clippers Insider” and included a promotional spot, show tease and in-show elements.

Director of Creative Services/OAP Greg Taylor and Producer/Editor James Freeman were recognized for their work promoting the April 2006 re-brand of FSN West 2 as FSN PRIME TICKET. Taylor and Freeman received Silver and Bronze Promax/BDA 2007 Promotion and Marketing Awards for their tease and eventual unveil of the new network name. The creative effort featured the Clippers’ Elton Brand, Roger Cross (Curtis Manning on “24”), Tommy Lasorda and Brian May of Queen, featuring the band performing “We Will Rock You”.

The FSN PRIME TICKET promotions, along with all other winning entries, have been added to the permanent collection of Promax/BDA media at the United States Library of Congress as part of The Robert Neer Promax/BDA Promos.tv Collection. The collection contains over 6,900 winning promotional spots from Promax/BDA competitions worldwide since 1999.
