:: Back To 2004 Draft Main ::
How did the workout go?
"It went really well. I wanted to go out there and go 110% and leave everything out there, and I feel I did that."

Is this your first NBA Draft workout?
"Yes."

Was it what you expected it to be?
"I didn't know what to expect. I got a lot of mixed information. So I just came in and tried to be as efficient as possible and work hard."

How would you describe your game?
"I'm someone who likes to do everything. I like to do the dirty work. I like to rebound, block shots, and get in the passing lanes. I like to give up my body and take charges and I like to knock down shots all over the court. [Laughs] I like to just play the game and I try to do the intangibles."

Your dad, Terry Cummings, was an 18 year NBA veteran and two-time All Star. Has his advice and experience given you an edge in these workouts?
"Definitely. I feel like I can go out and play against anybody after going against him [growing up]. I mean, he's a big guy! [Laughs] Working against him when I was a little guy prepared me for anything."

What part of your game most resembles your Dad's game?
"The ability to knock down the short corner jumper as well as going to the basket and finishing strong. I try to do all the same things he does. That's why I wore 43, because I wanted to do all the things he did, but I want to do it my own way."
