How did the workout go today?
"It went alright. I didn't shoot it that great in the competition drills, but shot well in spot-shooting. I made good moves, but I missed some shots. But [overall] it went OK."
You seemed to have a close bond with Coach K and the Duke basketball program? How difficult was it to make the decision to forego a Blue Devil uniform in favor of an NBA one?
"It was really tough. That's why I went through the [pre-Draft] process [before deciding]. I didn't want to make a stupid mistake by an early decision. I wanted to be confident about it."
What's more important to your game: your length or your court vision?
"My length and court vision tie in hand in hand. I try to use both to my advantage as much as possible."
You're only in high school, but you've already show fans that you're a gamer. In 2003, you hit a game-winner for the Illinois State Championship, and you thoroughly dominated the 2004 Championship game to grab back-to-back titles. How did you develop that clutch attitude?
"I feel that if you have the confidence in yourself, then you want to make those tough plays. You can't be afraid to fail. I fail everyday doing something. You have to have self-confidence."
With a strong Duke and Chicago connection already on this Clippers team, how do you think you'd fit in here?
"Really well. I'm already cool with Q, Corey and the other guys. I feel that they'll help groom me and take care of me as far as my development and transition [to the NBA game] is concerned."
