TELEVISION: KTLA the CW
Since the 2002-03 season, KTLA has served as the exclusive over-the-air broadcast home of the Clippers, with a new three-year deal beginning with the 2006-07 season. This marks a continued Clippers history for KTLA, which carried the Clippers from the 1985-86 season to the 1990-91 season. In addition, this season all Clippers’ games on KTLA the CW will be broadcast in high definition.
Returning to the action this season is KTLA Sportscaster Damon Andrews. Andrews provides live on-the-court reports during home games and keeps viewers posted on out-of-town scores during halftime. Sunday nights on “Prime News” are home to “Sports Plus,” Andrews’ essential weekly sports wrap-up. KTLA the CW, is committed to connecting the community with reliable and award-winning news coverage in both standard and high definition. The highly-rated “KTLA Morning Show” continues to help Angelinos rise and shine every weekday morning from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. “KTLA Prime News” airs weeknights at 10PM and is Southern California’s most reliable newscast, providing comprehensive coverage of up-to-the minute news, sports coverage, and entertainment from the heart of Hollywood. FSN PRIME TICKET has been the telecast destination for the Los Angeles Clippers for 12 years. During the 2007-08 season, FSN PRIME TICKET provides a 45-game schedule with select regular season games available in high definition (HD) for the first season on the regional sports network. Ralph Lawler, the “Voice of the Clippers,” begins his 29th year as the Clippers play-by-play announcer. Lawler is joined in the booth once again by former Clipper, Michael Smith, who enters his sixth season providing color analysis.
FSN PRIME TICKET is the exclusive home of “Clippers Live”, the 30-minute pre-game and full post-game show. Originating live from STAPLES Center and on the road, “Clippers Live” provides fans with unmatched access to the team with player interviews, expert analysis and feature stories. Hosted by FSN PRIME TICKET reporter Michael Eaves, with input from Don MacLean, “Clippers Live” keeps fans informed and entertained. RADIO: 710 ESPN
Southern California’s 710 ESPN, continues to serve as the play-by-play home of the Los Angeles Clippers for the 2007-08 season. Broadcaster Brian Sieman, entering his first season with the Clippers, calls the action while the “Voice of the Clippers,” Ralph Lawler and former Clipper Michael Smith, team up with Sieman to call all non-televised games.
As one of the five Owned and Operated ESPN radio stations run by the Walt Disney Company from among the 300+ ESPN syndicated network affiliates, 710 ESPN broadcasts a combination of local and ESPN Radio Network programming. The weekday programming line-up includes: The Herd with Colin Cowherd (6-10 a.m.); ESPN Radio (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.); DKLA: D’Marco Farr & Kevin Kiley (1-3 p.m.) and The Big Show with Steve Mason & John Ireland (3-7 p.m.). In addition to the Clippers, 710 ESPN is the play-by-play home for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim along with University of Southern California (USC) Football and Basketball and the San Diego Chargers.
