Barnes

The Clippers have announced that the team has signed forward Matt Barnes for the remainder of the 2003-04 season.

Barnes, who is averaging 3.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, originally signed a 10-day contract with the Clippers on January 18. He signed a second 10-day contract with the team on January 29.

The UCLA product has seen action in all 11 games since joining the team and had his finest performance in a win over Golden State on January 21, when he recorded his first career double-double with career-highs of 13 points and 10 rebounds.
