A four-time NBA All-Star, Baker has career averages of 15.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in 783 career games. Baker has been named to the All-NBA team twice and has 24 games of playoff experience. He was also a member of the gold medal-winning 2000 Olympic Men’s Basketball Team in Sydney, Australia.
Baker was originally drafted by Mike Dunleavy and the Milwaukee Bucks with the eighth overall selection in the 1993 NBA Draft. He enjoyed his most productive NBA season under Dunleavy, including a career-high 21.1 points per game during the 1995-96 campaign. Following Dunleavy’s departure from Milwaukee, Baker was dealt to Seattle and played five seasons for the Sonics from 1997-2002.
He has also played for Boston, New York and Houston during his 12-year career.
The Clippers roster now stands at 15 players.
