The New Year is upon us, so we here at Clippers.com compiled some of our favorite characters and aspects of 2003. Check out our "ABC's of 2003" below!
A - Assists

B - Blue Devils
The Clippers solidified their core this summer by signing former Duke Blue Devil teammates Elton Brand and Corey Maggette to long-term deals.
C - Contact
A Fan Assist section has been added to Clippers.com this season to allow fans to contact our Fan Relations dept. with inquiries, comments, and suggestions.
D - Dunleavy
Former NBA Coach of the Year Mike Dunleavy was named the Clippers Head Coach on July 11th, 2003. Dunleavy signed a multi-year deal to coach the team, and the team has already shown strong improvements.

Mr. Double-Double, Elton Brand has been one of the NBA's most consistent forces in the paint this year.
F - Free Throw
The Clippers are currently 3rd in the NBA in free throw shooting, connection on over 78% from the charity stripe through December 31st.
G - Game Winner
Glen Rice electrified STAPLES with a buzzer-beating game winner against Dallas on December 10th, 2003.
H - Hardwood Classics
The Clippers went old school against the New Jersey Nets on Nov. 27th, as they donned uniforms of the 1978-79 San Diego Clippers as part of the NBA's Hardwood Classics Nights.
I - Illinois
Illinois is a hotbed for Clippers talent, as four players (Quentin Richardson, Corey Maggette, Bobby Simmons, and Melvin Ely) grew up working on their games in that state.
J - Japan
The Clippers opened up the 2003-04 season in Saitama, as they faced Seattle in the 2003 NBA Japan Games.

K - Kaman
7-0 Chris Kaman joined the Clippers this season after being selected 6th overall by Los Angeles in the 2003 NBA Draft.
L - Lawler
Legendary broadcaster and "The Voice of the Clippers," Ralph Lawler, is entering his 25th season behind the mic as the play-by-play man for the Clippers.
M - Maggette
Clippers Forward Corey Maggette is having yet another career year this season; his numbers are up in virtually every category and is averaging over 20 ppg.
N - Nicknames
From "Maximus" and "Q" to "Dirty Rice" and "K-Man", this Clippers squad has their share of nicknames.
O - Olden
Veteran Center Olden Polynice rejoined the Clippers in 2003-04 to provide veteran leadership and hustle to the ballclub.

P - Points
Led by Corey Maggette, Elton Brand, and Quentin Richardson, the Clippers have been putting points on the board this season, as they currently rank 5th in the league in scoring.
Q- Quentin Richardson
2003 saw Guard Quentin Richardson notch single game career highs in points (44) and rebounds (16).
R - Rebounding
In addition to scoring, the Clippers have been a terror on the boards, ranking 4th overall in the NBA in rebounding.
S - STAPLES Center
There is no place like home, as the Clippers have posted a 10-7 record at STAPLES Center through Dec. 31st this season.
T - Twently Five
The Clippers are celebrating twently five years in California this season, as the team moved to San Diego from Buffalo before the 1978-79 season.
U - USA

V - Vaught
"Mr. Clipper", Loy Vaught is currently the Clippers' career leader in offensive rebounds. However, Elton Brand is on pace to break his record of 1,369 offensive boards sometime in 2005.
W - Wilcox
When Elton Brand went down with an injury early this season, Chris Wilcox stepped up his game and has kept it going since Elton's return. The second year forward is averaging over 10 ppg and 5 rpg through December this season.
X - X-Factor
Signed as a free agent from Washington this summer, Forward Bobby Simmons has been an x-factor for Los Angeles. The 6-6 forward has provided strong defense, hustle and an offensive spark off the bench for the Clippers.
Y - You
