Jarvis Hayes, a junior swing player
from Georgia had an impressive workout
with the Clippers on Wednesday.
He’s an impressive specimen (6-7, 220)
with long arms, big hands and good quickness.
When you see him, he’ll remind you of a
young Mitch Richmond. He has range on
a sweet-looking jump shot. Hayes shot 42%
from behind the 3 point line in college.
He was on the court for over an hour with
Joe Shipp (Cal),Desmond Penigar (Utah State)
and Dalron Johnson (UNLV).
A couple of veteran Clippers were on hand.
Lamar Odom and Tremaine Fowlkes went to
work as soon as the draft hopefuls called it
a day. Odom looks terrific. He’s added
muscle in an already productive off-season.
L.O. is thrilled to be working on his game
this summer as opposed to rehabilitating
from injuries as was the case last year. It
appears he’s making the most of the opportunity.
