The Los Angeles Clippers today announced the team's 2011-12 regular season broadcast schedule.
PRIME TICKET and its sister network, FOX Sports West will regionally telecast a total of 62 regular season and two preseason games (tonight, December 19th at the Lakers and December 21st vs. the Lakers) during the upcoming season. Four of the remaining contests not televised on PRIME TICKET will air nationally on TNT.
The Clippers national television package includes a franchise-high 23 games scheduled to be televised nationally on TNT (four games), ESPN (ten games) and NBA TV (nine games).
In it's 16th season overall as telecast partner - and the third season as the sole television home for the Clippers - PRIME TICKET and FOX Sports West will provide all game telecasts in High Definition (HD). This marks the third complete HD Clippers season for the regional sports network.
Ralph Lawler, the "Voice of the Clippers," is in his 33rd year as the Clippers play-by-play announcer alongside former Clipper Michael Smith, who is in his tenth season providing color analysis. Dain Blanton also returns this season delivering live interviews and reports from the sidelines.
PRIME TICKET is the exclusive home of "Clippers Live", the 30-minute original Clippers show that provides fans with unmatched access to the team. Hosted by PRIME TICKET reporter Michael Eaves, with analysis from former NBA players Don MacLean and Kiki Vandeweghe, "Clippers Live" keeps fans informed and entertained with player interviews, expert analysis and feature stories.
This coming Saturday, December 24th, PRIME TICKET will showcase the best Clippers games from the 2010-2011 season. Beginning at 11:00AM the re-broadcasts include: Clippers vs. Knicks (Nov. 20, 2010); Clippers vs. Miami (Jan. 12, 2011), Clippers vs. Pacers (Jan. 17, 2011); Clippers vs. Warriors (Jan. 22, 2011); and Clippers vs. Wizards (Mar. 23, 2011). And to kick off the regular season, PRIME TICKET delivers live coverage of Clippers at Warriors beginning at 7:00PM with "Clippers Live."
